Safety Tips

Never look directly at the sun, even during an eclipse, without proper eye protection. Regular sunglasses, smoked glass, or homemade filters are not safe. Use eclipse glasses or solar viewers that meet the ISO 12312-2 international safety standard.Proper Eye Protection: Never look directly at the sun, even during an eclipse, without proper eye protection. Regular sunglasses, smoked glass, or homemade filters are not safe. Use eclipse glasses or solar viewers that meet the ISO 12312-2 international safety standard.

Experience the highest quality and safety with our ISO-certified eclipse viewing glasses.

If you plan to view the eclipse through a camera, telescope, or binoculars, ensure these devices are fitted with a solar filter on their front end (not at the eyepiece). Solar filters should meet the ISO 12312-2 standard. Never look at the sun through an unfiltered device, even if you are wearing eclipse glasses or using a hand-held solar viewer

If you are in the path of totality, you can remove your solar filter only when the moon completely covers the sun and day turns into dark twilight. As soon as the sun begins to reappear, immediately use your solar viewer again to watch the remaining partial phases.

If children are with you, keep a close watch on them to make sure they use the solar viewers correctly and continuously. Explain to them the importance of not removing the viewer while looking at the sun

Choose a safe and comfortable location to view the eclipse. Watch out for changes in the behavior of wildlife, pets, or other people around you. Dress appropriately for the weather, bring water to stay hydrated, and apply sunscreen if you'll be outside for an extended period.
